Corbin Blake Duncan (aka cbd; any pronouns welcome) is a multi-faceted teaching artist and musician from Greensboro, NC. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Interdisciplinary Arts Social Practice from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Corbin currently serves as Director of Music at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Winston-Salem and has experience working as a public school music educator. Corbin’s professional praxis seeks to use communal music-making and other artistic experiences to allow space for healing and personal liberation, as well as to teach and model forms of democratic participation through the artistic process.
Corbin cares deeply about queer issues, anti-racist action, and embodiment through mind/body practices such as yoga, mediation, and prayer. They live and work in Greensboro, NC with their dog Blueberry and cats Franklin and Cleopatra.
